Somefly is located in the beautiful port city of Ningbo, and was founded in 2013. At the beginning of its establishment, the company creatively adopted the metal die casting process to integrate the manufacturing of inner conductor, and successfully spread the right Angle DIN (7/16) adapter to 8GHz, with excellent intermodulation performance. At the same time, continuous optimization of the connector housing design, and gradually developed a variety of low intermodulation connectors.

In 2016, it was recognized as ningbo National High-tech enterprise. In the same year, 2.92mm connectors and cable assemblies with frequencies up to 40GHz were produced. In the following year, 1/4" low-density PTFE wrapped cable was developed, and in 2019, low-cost FEP foam 1/4" cable was developed, which passed CMP demonstration and was applied to various indoor low-intermodulation cable components.

Today, Somefly has developed spiral insulation support, which is widely used in millimeter wave connectors. The company's product range covers DIN 7/16 in large size and SMPM in small size. The frequency of the products covers DC-67GHz, including connectors, adapters and cable components. The products are widely used in military industry, aerospace, satellite, radar, mobile network, broadband communication and big data, Internet of things, quantum communication and other frontier science and technology fields.

The company has passed ISO900:2015  quality management system certification, all connectors, cable components are using professional production equipment and testing instruments, from parts processing, heat treatment, passivation and other processes are completely controlled by the company, manufacturing in strict accordance with customer requirements. This includes training of operation staff according to IPC-WHMA-A-620. Cable assemblies must be 100% tested and have unique serial numbers and test records. Up to 67GHz phase matching, amplitude matching and delay measurement can be provided as required.
